Cranston to host premiere of 'Lumberjacking'
Cast and crew will be on hand to greet guests at the inaugural screening of the feature-length film, made on a shoestring budget, about a lumberjack in the 1960s who refuses to make the switch from axe to chainsaw. The film features John DePetro of radio station WPRO among a varied cast of Rhode Island natives.
Tickets, which are $10 each, can be purchased at www.lumberjackingmovie.com. Any remaining tickets can be purchased at the door. The film is appropriate for audiences over the age of 13. Steven Feinberg, Executive Director of the RI Film & TV Office, said, “We urge you to support your local filmmaking community by attending what is sure to be an enjoyable evening at a beautiful new venue. We are proud of the amount of quality entertainment being produced by the very talented residents of our Ocean State.”
