Louise H. Doucette, of Tamarisk Assisted Living Residence in Warwick, celebrated her 100th birthday on Sunday, July 12, surrounded by family and friends. Louise formerly lived at 9 Preston Ave. in Cranston for 98 years before moving to Tamarisk in March 2014. Louise was born in Cranston on July 8, 1915. In attendance were her children, Dr. Joanne Doucette of Cranston, and Judith Jamieson and her husband, William, also of Cranston; granddaughters Sarah Peterson, Stephanie Lottridge and Deirdre Lottridge; great grandchildren Devin Almeida and Brooklyn Awokande; sisters Frieda Hervey of Warwick and Gladys Larrivee of Johnston; as well as many family members and friends.
