Ann-Marie H’Oar of Mission Viejo, Calif. and Mark Vincent Brasil of Jamestown have announced their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ronald and Virginia H’Oar, formerly of West Warwick. She is a graduate of Norte Vista High School and California State University, Fullerton.
The groom-to-be is the son of Mark and the late Laura Brasil of Jamestown. He is a graduate of North Kingstown High School. He is a detective at the University of Rhode Island.
Living on two different sides of the country, Mark and Ann-Marie happened to meet by chance at a mutual friend’s wedding in 2012, and they have been together ever since. After eight months of dating, the two are engaged and are planning a summer wedding on July 5, 2014 in Narragansett.
