Carolyn Emily Kopcha of North Providence and David Pancarowicz of Waterford, Conn. have announced their engagement.
The future bride is the daughter of Emil and Kathleen Kopcha of Southington, Conn. She is a graduate of Southington High School and the University of Rhode Island. She is an oncology dietitian at UMass Medical Center in Worcester.
The future groom is the son of David Pancarowicz of New London Ave., Warwick, and Corinne Pancarowicz of Toll Gate Road, Warwick. He is a graduate of Toll Gate High School and the University of Rhode Island. He is an electrical engineer at General Dynamics Electric Boat, Groton, Conn.
The couple met during their undergrad studies at URI. They got engaged on their six-year anniversary at Narragansett Towers in June 2014. Their wedding is planned for August 29, 2015 at Christ the King Church in Kingston, with a reception following at the Village Inn in Narragansett.
