James Leonard Cumming, 76, of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House in Palm Coast.

Jim was born in Buffalo, New York on July 26, 1939 to the late Leonard and Gladys Cumming (Long). He earned his MBA at Wayne State University, went on to become an executive manager in the jewelry industry, and then founded Venue Incorporated, a jewelry manufacturing company based in Warwick, Rhode Island, which he owned for over 20 years. In 2002, Jim and his wife Nancy decided to move from their home of 30 years in East Greenwich, Rhode Island to live in Palm Coast, Florida. Jim was an avid hunter and also loved to play golf. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, fun-loving grandfather, and caring friend. We will all miss his sharp wit and mischievous smile.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Nancy, and their three daughters: Stacie and her husband, Scott Porter, Tamara and her husband, Curt Jurgenson, Melissa and her husband, Jim Sowers. Jim and Nancy have seven grandsons: Trevor and Colin Porter, Parker, Cody and Brayden Jurgenson, and Luke and Callan Sowers. Jim is also survived by his sister Grace Guido and her husband, Al.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
