U.S. Rep. Jim Langevin recently met with his Congressional Youth Cabinet members in his Rhode Island office. This year’s CYC program includes 27 students from 20 high schools across the Second District, including Supriya Chaudhary of Cranston High School East, Noah James of Cranston High School West, and Raymond Mancini of Cranston, who attends Rocky Hill School. The CYC program meets to discuss current events and the legislative process, and shares questions and ideas through an online forum prior to meetings. Discussion topics this year have included civics and government, Ebola response and cybersecurity. CYC began meeting in October of 2014 and will continue through the end of the school year.
