Margaret C. Halpin

Margaret C. Halpin, 90, of Edgewood, passed away July 5, 2011 at the Scandinavian Home.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Michael J. and Delia A. (Kelly) Halpin. Margaret had worked at the N.E. Telephone Co. for 42 years, retiring in 1982. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and a communicant of St. Paul Church.
She leaves a niece, Maureen McMahon of Cranston, and a nephew, Gerry McMahon of Warwick. She was the sister of the late Mary E. McMahon. Margaret was loved and cherished by many friends, family and everyone who came in contact with her; she will be missed.
Her funeral was held July 8 from Jones-Walton-Sheridan Funeral Home, 1895 Broad St. at Park Ave, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Paul Church of Edgewood, One St. Paul Pl., Cranston. Burial was in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
