Rep. Robert Lancia and his wife, Maryann, attended the 12th Annual Gold Star Family Weekend in San Francisco starting Thursday, Feb. 23. Lancia said that “families set up displays for their now-deceased loved ones,” and there were some tears shed during Friday morning’s memorial service. “If there is any doubt about all that those who serve, or have served, give and sacrifice, a weekend like this truly puts everything in perspective,” Lancia, who introduced Gold Star license plate legislation last session, said.
