Robert “Bob” W. Miller, 94, of Cranston passed away peacefully February 11, 2014 at Cherry Hill Manor in Johnston. He was the beloved husband of Lora (DeGrasse) Miller for 49 years.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Cornelius and Ethel (Henness) Miller. Bob worked for Durfee’s Hardware for 46 years until his retirement. He was also a United States Army Veteran serving in World War II.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter Linda Miller, MD, three step daughters: Barbara Bager, Jean Nadeau, Carol Scott; and their families. He was the brother of Frances Miller and the late Daniel Miller; and uncle to their families.

Funeral from Butterfield Home & Chapel, 500 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday, February 18th at 10:00 a.m. followed by burial at Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours will be Monday, February 17th from 4 – 8 p.m.
