The Southern New England Film, Art, and Music Festival arrives in Rhode Island April 20-25 with a number of interesting programs scheduled for Warwick and Providence.
Activities start on Monday, April 20 at 6:00 p.m. with six independent films being shown at the Columbus Theatre on Broadway in Providence.
There will be live music and music documentary films at Providence’s Brooklyn Coffee and Tea House on Tuesday, April 21, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Activities move to the Warwick Museum of Art on Wednesday, April 22 for the presentation of the organization’s Limelight Awards. There will be music and refreshments.
Back to the Columbus Theatre on April 24 for a showing of short films. “Bread and Butter”, a feature film, will be screened on April 25, in addition to “Bluebirds Fly”, a documentary on autism, LGBT shhorts, and “Bereave”, starring Michael McDonald.
New Jersey based rocker Zak Smith will also perform following the films at the closing party. Smith has received numerous awards for his music.
