Joy Homestead at 156 Scituate Ave. in Cranston recently played host to the 13th annual Rochambeau Strawberry Biscuit Tea, which honors the June 18, 1781 march of allied French and American forces that had been camped nearby in Providence. On that date, the Revolutionary War troops passed by the Westcott House, Sheldon House, and Joy Homestead. (Text by Meri R. Kennedy/Herald photos by Steve Popiel)
