Vivian B. Ross, 100, died Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at the Sunny View Nursing Home in Warwick.

Born in Providence, the daughter of the late Germaine and Bernadette (Lucier) Ross, she was the sister of the late Raymond G. Ross and the late Rev. Laurence E. Ross, S.M. She was employed at Amtrol in West Warwick, retiring after many years as office manager. She was a devout Catholic and a communicant of St. Mark’s Church, Cranston. She enjoyed ballroom dancing and loved to travel. An avid sports fan, she followed the New England Patriots, the Boston Red Sox and the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame University.

She is survived by several relatives and many close friends & caretakers many of whom recently gathered at Greenwich Farms in Warwick, where she was residing, to celebrate her 100th birthday.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 27 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home & Crematory, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 28 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Church, 9 Garden Court, Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
