On Nov. 18, the AP 2D Art & Design classes from Cranston East and Cranston West took a field trip to the Rhode Island School of Design’s Nature Lab, including its Microscopy and GIS Lab and Biodesign Makerspace. The trip was funded through the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts and the National Art Honor Societies at both schools. Students spent time researching specimens to incorporate into their sustained investigation portfolios. (Courtesy of Jill Cyr)
