Help needed to deliver senior holiday meals

Over the past 32 years the Cranston Holiday Meals Program has been extremely successful in providing holiday cheer to many Cranston seniors who will be alone for the holidays.

Last year, over 300 seniors enjoyed delicious Senior Services’ Thanksgiving and Christmas meals. These holiday meals, which are prepared by the Senior Services’ Nutrition Staff and retired senior volunteers, were delivered by hundreds of community volunteers.

This year, they are seeking help once again to deliver holiday meals to seniors. If you are interested in doing so call Yvette Grullon at Cranston Senior Services 780-6144 before Dec.17.

Meals will be delivered from Cranston Senior Services, 1070 Cranston St. on Friday, Dec. 22 for Christmas from 10 a.m. to noon.
