Dept. of Transportation spokesman Charles St. Martin said that this stretch of Reservoir Ave., pictured Tuesday afternoon, was one of two re-paving phases being done by the state. He said that this portion of the project, from Park Ave. to roughly where the old Bickford’s restaurant is, was nearing the end of its work. The other section, which will go from there up to just north of the Sockanosset Cross Road intersection will be done next Spring, he said, although he added that it could get done this Fall depending on the weather and if they can finalize a deal with a contractor.
