ASSAULT

As the result of a disturbance at 54 Hope Hill Terrace on March 26 at 8:53 p.m., Officer Pariseault arrested Rebecca Anthony, 62, of 54 Hope Hill Terrace in Cranston, for domestic simple assault and domestic refusal to relinquish a telephone. Anthony was arraigned and released.

Officer Collado arrested Justin Silva, 19, of 123 Hillwood St. in Cranston on March 26 at 3:40 a.m. for simple assault/battery, disorderly conduct and resisting legal or illegal arrest. Silva’s arrest was the result of a call for service in the area of Alto Street and Terrace Avenue. He was held overnight to await arraignment by a Justice of the Peace.

On March 20 at 9:17 p.m., Officer Mason arrested Raymond Prout, 37, of 18 Cedar St. in Cranston for domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct as a result of a call for service at the aforementioned address. He was held for arraignment. DISORDERLY

On March 26 at 6:29 p.m., Officer Travers arrested Malkyraah Cornwell, 19, of 427 Pine Street, No. 1, in Providence for disorderly conduct as the result of a disturbance at 204 Garfield Ave. Cornwell was held as a probation violator. Officer Langlais arrested Eugene Morissette, 42, of 35 Kenwood St. in Warwick on March 26 at 7:46 p.m., for domestic disorderly conduct as the result of a disturbance at 377 Phenix Ave. He was later arraigned and released. Christa Thomas, 21, of 254 Greenwood St. in Cranston, was arrested on March 26 at 8:45 p.m. by Officer Henry for domestic simple assault, domestic disorderly conduct and domestic refusal to relinquish a telephone as the result of a disturbance at 9 Mica Ave. She was arraigned and released.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

March 26 at 2:14 a.m., Officer Russell arrested Regine Felix, 25, of 27 Greenway St. in Cranston for driving under the influence first offense as the result of a call for service at the Reservoir Avenue Taco Bell. Felix was held overnight awaiting arraignment by a justice of the peace.

LARCENY

On March 24 at 12:40 p.m. Detective Sohn arrested Steven Corcoran, 56, of 114 Gaulin Ave., No. 1D in Woonsocket for larceny. Corcoran’s arrest was the result of a Cranston Police arrest warrant based off a previous incident. He was held for arraignment pending arrival of a justice of peace.

RESISTING ARREST

Following a motor vehicle stop and subsequent foot pursuit on Union Avenue on March 20 at 7:08 p.m., Officers McCoy and Henry arrested Javier Marulanda, 26, of 40 Harriet St. in Providence for resisting legal or illegal arrest. He was held for arraignment.

SHOPLIFTING

Steven Shirley, 32, of 627 Cranston St. in Providence, was arrested on March 24 at 2:01 p.m. by Officer McCoy for shoplifting following an investigation at the Garfield Avenue K-Mart. He was held overnight as a probation violator.

Officers Reis and J. Hardy arrested Janelle Sartini, 23, of 21 E. View Drive in Little Compton on March 22 at 5:55 p.m. for shoplifting, conspiracy, and a Superior Court bench warrant as a result of a call for service at the Reservoir Avenue Cumberland Farms. She was held for arraignment by Justice of the Peace. Officers also arrested Shawn Chadwick, 35, who is homeless, for the same charges.

On March 20 at 7:40 a.m., Officer Braga arrested Adam Auchard, 28, of 627 Cranston St. in Providence, for shoplifting. His arrest was the result of a call for service at the Garfield Avenue Lowe’s. He was transported to Third District Court.

After a call for service at the Garfield Avenue Stop and Shop on March 20 at 8:44 p.m., Officer Leonard arrested Carlos Rosa, 67, of 30 Circle Drive in East Providence for shoplifting. He was held for arraignment by a justice of the peace.

SUSPENDED LICENSE

Elliott Marzette, 25, of 22 Villa Ave. in Cranston was arrested on March 20 at 10:45 p.m. by Officer Sirois for driving under the influence first offense and operation a motor vehicle with a suspended license third offense following a motor vehicle stop on Route 10 South. He was held for arraignment.

WARRANT

On March 22 at 4:51 p.m., Officers Langlais and Carroll arrested Nancy Luna, 41, of 30 Huron St. in Providence for a Superior Court bench warrant as a result of a call on Libera Street. She was transported to intake.
