CRUELTY/NEGLECT OF A CHILD

On March 9 at 11:30 a.m., police arrested Efrain Torres, 41, 1451 Broad St., second floor, Providence, on charges of cruelty/neglect of child, refusal to relinquish a telephone and simple assault.

DUI

On March 6 at 6:49 a.m., police arrested Jeffrey Curtis, 43, 210 Holland St., Cranston, on a charge of driving under the influence. Police say Curtis was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle accident on South Clarendon Street.

DRUG CHARGES

On March 10 at 12:36 p.m., police arrested Ramiro Morente Hernandez, 36, 138 Wendell St., Providence, on two counts of possession of a controlled substance and a charge of obstructing an officer in the execution of duty. Police say Hernandez was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Reservoir Avenue.

On March 13 at 12:20 a.m., police arrested Trisha Kiley, 30, 690 Providence St., West Warwick, on two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Police say Kiley was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle top at Oaklawn Avenue and Woodstock Lane.

DOMESTIC CHARGES

On March 6 at 2:30 a.m., police arrested Jessica Marie Sarachick, 32, 75 Newell St., West Warwick, on charges of domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.

On March 7 at 12:30 p.m., police arrested Melissa Jones, 38, 173 Lexington Ave., Cranston, on charges of domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.

On March 7 at 8:53 p.m., police arrested Mitchel Sliwa, 34, 135 Paine Ave., Cranston, on a charge of domestic simple assault.

On March 8 at 9:09 p.m., police arrested Paul Ferruccio, 28, 1905 Smith St., North Providence, on charges of domestic failure to relinquish a telephone and domestic disorderly conduct.

On March 9 at 2:59 p.m., police arrested Nicholas Minutelli, 25, 2 Poplar Drive, Cranston, on charges of domestic assault by strangulation and domestic disorderly conduct.

On March 12 at 5:10 a.m., police arrested Sergio Augusto Dos Santos, 40, 132 Hoffman Ave., Apt. 215, Cranston, on charges of domestic assault with a dangerous weapon and domestic disorderly conduct.

MULTIPLE CHARGES

On March 7 at 9:42 p.m., police arrested Zachary Harris, 27, 50 Corona St., Warwick, on charges of obstructing an officer in the execution of duty and willful trespassing. Police say Harris was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 10 south.

On March 7 at 10:55 p.m., police arrested Douglas Crespo, 23, 7 Audrey St., Apt. 1, Providence, on charges of breaking and entering, vandalism and disorderly conduct. Police say Crespo was arrested as a result of a call for service on First Avenue.

On March 11 at 5:46 a.m., police arrested Andres Morales, 51, 33 Pope St., Apt. 904, Providence, on charges of assault, possession of a stolen vehicle, reckless driving and driving after suspension of a license, third or subsequent offense. Police say Morales was arrested after officers responded to a report of a stolen motor vehicle on Greylock Avenue.

INTENT TO DEFRAUD

On March 10 at 7:28 p.m., police arrested Brian Bingham, 49, 67 Gleason St., Cranston, on a charge of obtaining food or accommodations with intent to defraud. Police say Bingham was arrested as a result of a call for service on Gansett Avenue.

STOLEN GOODS

On March 7 at 8:16 p.m., police arrested Daryl Pope Colebut, 36, 88 Unit St., Providence, on a charge of receiving stolen goods. Police say Colebut was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Reservoir Avenue. He was additionally taken into custody on an arrest warrant issued from Providence Police.

SHOPLIFTING

On March 9 at 6:55 p.m., police arrested Kasee Joyner, 39, 15 Meeting St., Newport, on charges of shoplifting and conspiracy. Police say Joyner was arrested after officers responded to a report of shoplifting on Plainfield Pike.

On March 9 at 6:55 p.m., police arrested Tevin Vieira, 29, 524 Sayles Ave., Apt. 2, Pawtucket, on charges of shoplifting and conspiracy. Police say Vieira was arrested after officers responded to a report of shoplifting on Plainfield Pike.

VANDALISM

On March 6 at 10:41 a.m., police arrested Joyce Torres, 38, 161 Bryant St., Cranston, on a charge of vandalism. Police say Torres was arrested after responding to the department’s Garfield Avenue headquarters.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

On March 11 at 1:30 a.m., police arrested Robert T. Tourtellot, 33, 630 George Waterman Road, Johnston, on a charge of disorderly conduct. Police say Tourtellot was arrested as a result of a disturbance call on Cranston Street.

NO-CONTACT VIOLATION

On March 8 at 5:14 p.m., police arrested Melissa Jones, 38, 173 Lexington Ave., Cranston, on a charge of violation of a no-contact order. Police say Jones was arrested after responding to the department’s Garfield Avenue headquarters.

SUSPENDED LICENSE

On March 7 at 5:18 p.m., police arrested Carlos Marquez, 32, 152 River St., Providence, on a charge of driving with a suspended license, third or subsequent offense. Police say Marquez was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Cranston Street.

On March 12 at 10:11 a.m., police arrested Wascar Rivas, 24, 48 June St., Apt. K, Providence, on a charge of driving with a suspended license, third or subsequent offense. Police say Rivas was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Cranston Street.

WARRANTS

On March 6 at 12:22 a.m., police took Ronald D. Pacheco, 31, 1277 Plainfield St., Johnston, into custody on an arrest warrant issued from North Smithfield Police. Police say Pacheco was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Plainfield Street.

On March 6 at 7:39 p.m., police took Anthony Franco, 23, 33 Burnside St., Cranston, into custody on an arrest warrant issued from Warwick Police. Police say Franco was arrested as a result of a warrant pickup on Burnside Street.

On March 7 at 8:16 p.m., police took Leihani Rose, 38, 783 Park Ave., Apt. 1, Cranston, into custody on a bench warrant issued from Third Division District Court. Police say Rose was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Reservoir Avenue.

On March 7 at 11:31 p.m., police took Camerey Fernandes, 19, 24 Cambell Terrace, Pawtucket, into custody on a bench warrant issued from Sixth Division District Court. Police say Fernandes was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop at Reservoir Avenue and Burnside Street.

On March 8 at 9:40 p.m., police took Alexander Rivera, 42, 159 Fourth St., Providence, into custody on an arrest warrant issued from Providence Police. Police say Rivera was arrested as a result of a report of a suspicious person on Cranston Street.

On March 11 at 9:42 a.m., police took Michael Laurendeau, 44, 58 Angela Ave., Cranston, into custody on a bench warrant issued from Superior Court and an arrest warrant issued from Narragansett Police. Police say Laurendeau was arrested as a result of a report of suspicious activity on Garfield Avenue.
