COUNTERFEIT BILLS

On May 15 at 11:49 a.m. Officer Scotti arrested Christopher Troupe, 30, of 155 Cottage St. Apt #2R in Pawtucket, for passing of counterfeit certificates/bills/notes and receiving stolen goods from Cranston PD. Arrest was the result of Sheriffs having him in custody at 6th District Court. He was held for arraignment by a Justice of the Peace.

DISORDERLY

Officer McIntrye arrested Chanly Long, 45, of 292 Douglas Ave. Apt. # 1 in Providence for disorderly conduct on May 17 at 11:56 p.m. Long was held awaiting arraignment.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

On May 20 at 2:11 a.m., Officer Corvese arrested Nicholas Desmarais, 36, of 161 Federal St. in Blackstone Mass. for driving under the influence second offense, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and refusal to submit to a chemical test. The arrest is a result of a suspicious call at 89 Fort Ave. He was then held for arraignment. ***

Officer Pezzullo arrested Aurelio Perez, 25, of 48 Pleasant St. on May 18 at 1:03 a.m. for driving under the influence first offense, and possession of schedule I-V drug (Alprazolam). The arrest was a result of a suspicious activity call on Phenix Ave at Phenix Ridge Drive. Perez was then held for arraignment.

LARCENY

Wayne Jennings, 29, of 164 Linwood Ave., Providence, on May 15 at approximately 3:23 p.m. by Officer Burns for larceny over $1500, three counts of larceny of a firearm, and conspiracy. The arrest was the result of a pickup at RI State Police Lincoln Barracks on an arrest and affidavit warrant. He was held awaiting arraignment as a bail violator.

OBSTRUCTION

As a result of a motor vehicle stop at Route 10 South at the 95 on-ramp on May 18 at 12:54 a.m., Sgt. Rutkiewicz arrested Aaron Stanley, 33, of 26 Phenix Ave. in West Warwick for obstructing an officer in execution of duty. He was held for arraignment.

SEX OFFENDER ADDRESS

At 7:21 a.m. on May 19, Detective. Lee, assisted by Officer Escobar, arrested Jeremy Richardson, 38, with a last known address of 30 Howard Ave. in Cranston, for a Sex Offender address change, as well as two Superior Court full bench warrants. His arrest was the result of an on-going investigation and subsequent pick-up at 22 Stephen Hopkins Court, Providence. He was then held as a probation violator.

STOLEN GOODS

Brittany Davis, 27, of 24 Grant Ave, was arrested on May 18 at 4:12 a.m. by Officer Leclair for Receiving Stolen Goods. The arrest is a result of a motor vehicle stop on Park Ave at Park View Boulevard. She was held awaiting arraignment.

STRANGULATION

At 1:07 a.m. on May 18, Officer Maione arrested Emmanuel Ramos, 33, of 126 Dodge St. in Providence for domestic assault by strangulation, domestic simple assault, domestic disorderly conduct, simple assault, disorderly conduct, and vandalism. The arrest is a result of a disturbance from 28 Cedar St. he was held for arraignment.

VANDALISM

On May 18 at 1:07 a.m., Officer Maione arrested Erica Hoffman, 35, of 28 Cedar St. for domestic vandalism and domestic disorderly conduct. The arrest is a result of a disturbance from 28 Cedar St. She was held awaiting arraignment.

WARRANTS

Officer Murray arrested Tracy Souza ,32, of 907 Bernon St. Apt #2 Woonsocket, on May 19 at 7:59 p.m. for a Cranston Police Department warrant for felony shoplifting. Souza’s arrest was the result of a pick up from the Woonsocket Police Department. Souza was then transported to the ACI Intake.

On May 19 at 1:16 p.m., Officer Fish arrested Brandon Johnson, 22, of 30 Howard Ave. in Cranston, for shoplifting and a Sixth District Court bench warrant. His arrest was the result of a shoplifting investigation at Shaws. He was held awaiting arraignment by the Justice of the Peace, and was then to be transported to the ACI.

Officer Dempsey arrested Derek Monacelli, 39, of 9 Victoria Mount in Johnston on May 18 at 10:50 a.m. for a North Kingstown Warrant of Arrest. His arrest was the result of a shoplifting investigation at Walmart. He was later turned over to North Kingstown Police Department.

On May 17 at approximately 6:42 p.m., Officer Smith and Sgt. Chapman arrested Sonia Valerio, 32, of 145 Magnolia St. in Providence for two outstanding Superior Court and District Court bench warrants, obstruction of an officer in execution of duty, manufacture/possession/delivery of a Schedule I drug (marijuana), possession of a schedule I-V drug, and as a fugitive from justice. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident in the area of Garfield Avenue and RT 10 South. She was then held awaiting arraignment.
