ASSAULT

On Nov. 22 at 11:59 p.m. officers arrested Brenda Ayala, 26 of 78 Old Oak Avenue #3 in Cranston for simple assault, disorderly conduct and resisting legal or illegal arrest as a result of a disturbance call at 78 Old Oak Avenue #2. She was then held for arraignment.

Officers arrested Nicole Panarello, 40, of 185 Chenango Ave in North Providence on Nov. 21 at 11:16 p.m. for domestic disorderly conduct and domestic simple assault as the result of a call for service at 147 Pheasant Dr. She was then arraigned.

BREAKING AND ENTERING

On Nov. 20 officers arrested Rebecca E. Abedon, 38, of 20 Ann Mary Brown Dr. in Warwick as a result of an arrest warrant for breaking and entering. Abedon was arraigned at Third District Court before Magistrate Joseph P. Ippolito Jr. and given $1,000 surety bail. She was held as a probation violator.

POSSESSION

As the result of a motor vehicle stop on Pontiac Ave near Legion Way on Nov. 26 at 12:46 a.m. officers arrested Rodney Freitas Raposo, 24, of 370 Ridge St. in Fall River, Mass. for possession of marijuana, a suspended license, obstruction and giving a false document to a public official. He was held awaiting arraignment.

Michael Fiorentino, 37, of 45 Berry St. Apt. F in Cranston was arrested on Nov. 24 at 11:19 a.m. for possession of a schedule I-V drug and an outstanding Third District Court bench warrant. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of 1330 Elmwood Ave. He was held awaiting arraignment.

On Nov. 24 at 12:15 a.m. officers arrested Charles J. Lefort, 34 of 226 Constitution Court #2 in Johnston for possession of schedule II drug as a result of a traffic stop at 400 Reservoir Avenue. He was held for arraignment.

As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Reservoir Ave. near Burnside Ave. on Nov. 22 at 4:15 a.m., officers arrested Vera Means, 39, of 75 North St #2 in New Bedford, Mass. for possession of a Schedule I-V drug. She was then held awaiting arraignment.

On Nov. 22 at 2:16 a.m. officers arrested Luis Pineda-Izazaga, 31, of 15 Willis St. in Cranston for possession of schedule I-V drug as the result of a call for service at 535 Reservoir Ave. He was held awaiting arraignment.

SEX OFFENDER ADDRESS

Officers arrested Elliott Rivera,42, of 30 Howard Ave. on Nov. 20 at 6:07 a.m. for a sex offender address change. The arrest the result of a pickup on a CPD Warrant at 30 Howard Ave. He was then held for arraignment.

SHOPLIFTING

On Nov. 26 at 10:00 a.m. Officers arrested Carlton Purdy, 46, of 3 Maple St, Cranston for Shoplifting and Habitual Offender. The arrest was a result of a call for service at 20 Chapel View. He was then transported to the Third District Court.

STOLEN VEHICLE

Durand Perry, 31, of 465 Waites Corner Road in West Kingston on Nov. 26 at 6.44 p.m. officers arrested for Possession of Stolen Vehicle, Weapons Other Than Firearms and Conspiracy. The arrest was a result of a call for service on Merit Dr. He was transported to Third District Court.

At 6:44 p.m. on Nov. 26 officers arrested David Harding, 29, of 36 Greely St. in Providence for possession of stolen vehicle and conspiracy. The arrest was a result of a call for service on Merit Dr. He was transported to Third District Court.

Officers arrested Benjamin D. Bernard, 19 of 5 Elm Street in Coventry on Nov. 22 at 11:30 p.m. for possession of stolen motor vehicle and attempted larceny from a motor vehicle as a result of a larceny call at 145 Lippett Avenue. He was then held for arraignment.

WARRANT

On Nov. 26 at 7:30 p.m. officers arrested Thomas Brown, 31, of 30 Howard Ave. in Cranston for a Superior Court bench warrant as a result of a suspicious persons call on Route 10. He was transported to the ACI men’s intake.

***** Officers arrested William Link, 53, of 85 Briggs St. Apt. 405 in Cranston on Nov. 26 at 11:21 p.m. for a Superior Court bench warrant as a result of a suspicious persons call at the aforementioned address. He was transported to the ACI men’s intake.

On Nov. 24 at 2:15 a.m. officers arrested Katelyn Howell, 20 of 27 Lincoln Avenue #1 in Cranston for a Sixth District Court bench warrant as a result of a traffic stop at 47 Grant Avenue. She was transferred to the ACI. *****

Michael Hamel Jr., 24, of 70 Power Rd. in Pawtucket was arrested on Nov. 23 at 8:23 p.m. for obstruction of justice, an outstanding Superior Court bench warrant, a Sixth District Court bench warrant, and arrest and affidavit warrant out of Pawtucket Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Union Ave. and Webster Ave. He was held awaiting arraignment as a violator.
