On July 20, the Carolyn Dutra Dancers performed in front of a good-sized crowd at the Gazebo in Garden City Center. For more than 4 decades, the Carolyn Dutra Dance Studios have been teaching dance for boys and girls 18 months to adult. Miss Carolyn, as she is referred to by her students, is a former Radio City Music Hall Rockette. At age 70, she still can kick up her heels and teach dancers five days a week in her studios located in Cranston, Warwick and Smithfield. Most dancers on the night of July 20 were from Cranston.
