Anthony DeAngelis III, a member of the Class of 2014 at Cranston High School East, has been selected for membership in the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS). The Society recognizes top scholars and invites only those students who have achieved academic excellence. “On behalf of NSHSS, I am honored to recognize the hard work, sacrifice and commitment that Anthony has demonstrated to achieve this level of academic excellence,” said Claes Nobel, founder and chairman of NSHSS, and a senior member of the family that established the Nobel Prize. Membership in this Society will entitle DeAngelis to a variety of benefits, including scholarship opportunities, academic competitions, member-only resources and more. (Submitted photo)
