The Pilgrim girls lacrosse team traveled to Cranston Stadium and topped East 9-6 during the Thunderbolts’ senior night game.
The Pats jumped out to a 4-3 lead in the first half, and although the Bolts remained within arm’s reach of knotting the score in the second half, the Pats would pull away down the stretch to pull out the win.
Lily Frappier led the Bolts with a trio of goals while Hope Halvarson, Abbie Cahill and Savana Lavimodiere added one each. Eily Brindak added an assist in the loss, while goalie Bernadette Linsangan racked up 12 saves in the cage.
Lila Giguere and Olivia Paquet led the Pats with three goals each, while Alyssa Peixinho added a pair of scores. Anna D’Angelo also added a score for Pilgrim, while Abigail Magiera recorded 10 saves in the cage.
