Eco-Depot Collection: Providence

Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corporation (Resource Recovery) in conjunction with the City of Providence Department of Public Works will host a collection of household hazardous waste (HHW) on Saturday, March 25, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Providence Public Works located at 700 Allens Ave. In addition to household hazardous waste, electronic waste will be collected—courtesy of Indie Cycle, LLC. Appointments are required for household hazardous waste collection, but not required for electronic waste collection. This event is available to Rhode Island residents only.

Electronic items accepted at no charge include: Computers, laptops, servers, routers, televisions, inkjet printers, fax machines, typewriters, scanners, Cell phones, cordless phones, small household appliances and more. Visit www.indiecycle.com for a complete list. A $10.00 disposal fee applies to laser-jet printers, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, small refrigerators, water coolers, and other coolant containing appliances.
