This past weekend, Confreda Greenhouses & Farms, located at 2150 Scituate Ave., opened their annual Confreda Fall Festival offering an array of fall activities including Pick Your Own Pumpkin, a Giant Slide, Train Rides and new this year is the Confreda’s Animal Barnyard featuring goats, chickens, pigs, cows and turkeys.

The Confreda Fall Festival is now in its 24th year of providing games and attractions every weekend through the end of Oct. (weather permitting). Their free old fashion hayrides are pulled by antique tractors. Every hayride gives a look into what goes on in the fields at Confreda’s.

Every year, people come from miles around to celebrate the Fall season at Confreda’s Fall Fest. Join the thousands of families who have made Confreda Greenhouses & Farms a part of their fall tradition. You can enjoy fall and carnival-themed eats and treats at their outdoor food court.

At the Confreda Fall Festival, you will also find the Bessie Bounce House, rides and amusements, free hayrides to their pumpkin patch, a Tomato Cannon and more.

The Confreda Fall Festival will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

As always, Confreda Farms offers hot apple cider donuts, fresh baked apple pies and a wide assortment of farm fresh food.

The Corn MAiZE covers 6 acres with more than 2 miles of paths is also open which is full of interactive games throughout.

The MAiZE admission is $8 per person (ages 2-99) which also includes a hayride. There are also group discounts available.

Confreda’s MAiZE is approximately the size of 7 football fields and towers at nearly ten feet tall. This year’s design has a total of two miles of twists, turns and dead ends.

It is estimated that this year’s MAiZE will take an hour and a half to complete.

They also offer a Combo Wristband at $15 per person which includes Hayride, MAiZE admission, and unlimited kiddie rides for a full day of fun on the farm.
