Festival Fete takes over Garden City
CHOCOLATE DELIGHT: Liz Cicerone, Becky Clarke
(owner) and Ashley Saravo sell homemade chocolate
from Emma’s Edibles.
WHAT IS ON YOUR PLATE: Jane McAuliffe and Tabitha
Johnson, owner and artist of T.K.J. Designs, sell their ceramics
and glass art to festival-goers. This is the second
year of the festival, which moved indoors into the former
Border’s bookstore.
SITTING PRETTY: Ruby Rocheau, 3, had her face painted
by artist Meghan Richards during the Festival Fete Holiday
Market in Garden City.
A SEASONAL FAVORITE: Selling apple crisp is Becky
Hanos. Her festive outfit and the aroma of apple crisp was
enough to bring people to her booth.
THE GLORY OF IT ALL: Festival Fete Holiday Market, organized
by Jennifer Neuguth, owner of Festival Fete, was
a huge success this past weekend in Garden City. Held in
the former Border’s, more than 100 artisans sold their
crafts and artwork just in time for the holiday season. Pictured
is Neuguth at a table with a penny social and giftwrapping
offered by Festival Fete.
