On Sept. 7, The Greater Cranston Chamber of Commerce, along with Garden City Center, hosted the annual A Taste of Garden City. The event was a fundraiser for both the Chamber of Commerce and CCAP. Approximately 275 people attended the event and enjoyed samplings of food from twelve locations in Garden City.
Those offering samples were Williams Sonoma, Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, Corner Bakery, Pinkberry, Sweenor’s Chocolates, Edible Arrangements, Fat Face, Pottery Barn, B. good, Avvio, Bistro 22 and Whole Foods.
Performing for the crowd were The Canary Diamonds featuring Jeanne Evans and Elaine Sullivan along with Emily Jacobs on vocals, Dennis Pratt on bass and Yvonne Monnett on keyboard.
