Junior Jordan Moretti is the Girls’ Basketball Athlete of the Year, as well as the Softball Athlete of the Year.
Moretti was arguably the top point guard in the state over the winter season, leading the Panthers to an undefeated Division II season and a championship, as she averaged 20 points per game – good for fourth in the state. Her assist and steal numbers were also high, seeing that she always found an open teammate and forced numerous turnovers that translated into points at the offensive end.
On the softball diamond, Moretti led the Panthers defensively with her play at shortstop, and she was one of their top hitters as a mainstay at the top of the order this spring.
Moretti was a Second Team All-State selection in basketball and a First Team All-Division pick for softball.
