Giro R. “Bobby” Russo, 77, a retired supervisor for Amtrak passed away Sunday, October 6, 2019 at the Kent Hospital in Warwick surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Helen M. (Begones) Russo for 53 years.

Born in Providence, he was a son of Esther (Grinnell) Mossman and the late Dennis Mossman. Bobby loved spending time with his family, dancing, and tinkering with his ham radio, computers, and his model trains.

Bobby was the loving father of Lisa M. Newton and her husband Mark, and Lori A. Lepizzera; loving grandfather of Scott R. and Michael R. Lepizzera; brother of Dennis, Debra, Cindy, Frank Mossman, and the late Arthur and William Mossman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews; and grand nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held Thursday, October 10, 2019 at 9 AM from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Kevin Church, Sandy Lane.
