IN THE DOGHOUSE: New to the Cranston and Johnston business community is Scrub A Pup, a self-service dog salon located at 2244 Plainfield Pike, bordering both communities. Scrub A Pup offers self-service dog wash and provides all the shampoo, towels and needs for the dog’s bath as well as offering full service grooming, including de-skunking, flea and tic dip, pad conditioning and medicated shampoos. Pictured at the ribbon cutting is Cranston Mayor Allan Fung and owner Todd DiMillio. Also offered at Scrub A Pup is a free first time bath for any rescued dog from a shelter upon showing adoption papers. (Herald photos by Steve Popiel)
