Barnes & Noble Warwick will host a Harry Potter Countdown to Midnight Party starting at 8 p.m. on July 30 leading up to the midnight release of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts I & II, a special rehearsal edition script book, which goes on sale at midnight. Special guests include Vladimir Snape. Participants can take pictures with and enjoy special readings of “The Tales of Beedle the Bard” by Vladimir Snape and other special character guests.
Members of the University of Rhode Island Quidditch Club will be participating and attendees can learn about this competitive sport in the Wizarding World of the Harry Potter universe. A number of activities will be held, including a Harry Potter Character Look Alike Contest, House activities, a special Muggle Wall that will allow fans to share their favorite memories of Harry Potter, Harry Potter Story Ball, giveaways and more, all leading up to midnight for the release of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts I & II.
Customers can enter the Barnes & Noble exclusive Harry Potter Limited Edition Cover Prints Sweepstakes for a chance to win a set of seven Harry Potter Limited Edition Cover Prints, available exclusively at Barnes & Noble, up until the July 30 Countdown to Midnight Party.
Customers in attendance at Barnes & Noble Warwick that evening are encouraged to upload pictures of themselves having fun to their social media channels using the hashtags #BNHP and #ReadTheMagic.
