GENTLE: Children that attended the special Project Chick program held on April 17 at the Auburn Library sat in a circle and held and petted the six baby chicks.
LEARNING ABOUT BIRDS: During the special vacation program at the Auburn Library, participants could study the display of eggs and pictures of the birds that laid them. The largest egg was an Ostrich egg and the smallest was the Hummingbird egg.

A special vacation program called Project Chick was held at the Auburn Library on April 17. Christin Goff of Casey Farms in R.I. provided the special program, which included a slide presentation about life on the farm, a display birds and their eggs along with a hen and six baby chicks. Approximately 30 were in attendance during the morning presentation.
