Media scrubbed version of moon landing

Posted

To the Editor:

The mainstream has a field day informing us that, 50 years ago, man stepped on the moon via Apollo 11, replaying Walter Cronkite and the videos of that moment when astronaut Neil Armstrong stepped foot on the moon: “One small step for man; one giant step for mankind.” Over and over all week, but it seems that two events have been scrubbed from the official, authorized, MSM record and those events have to do with the reading of the Bible and partaking of the elements of communion. Puny man is to be glorified and his Creator (Jesus) is to be put on the back shelf for consumption by those who overdose on the “opiate of the people.”

Here is a partial account of these events as depicted in a Fox column: www.foxnews.com/science/moon-landing-bible-apollo-11-buzz-aldrin-communion.

“Aldrin silently read from John 15:5, which he penned on a 3-by-5-inch note card: “As Jesus said: I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me, and I in Him, will bear much fruit; for you can do nothing without me.” Aldrin then performed the ritual alone, "In the radio blackout I opened the little plastic packages which contained bread and wine," Aldrin said. "I poured the wine into the chalice our church had given me. In the one-sixth gravity of the moon, the wine curled slowly and gracefully up the side of the cup. It was interesting to think that the very first liquid ever poured on the moon, and the first food eaten there, were communion elements." At the end of the mission, when Aldrin was headed back to earth, he read aloud a second verse, from the Old Testament, he scrawled on the same note card, Psalm 8: 3-4: "When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou has ordained; What is man that thou art mindful of him? And the Son of Man, that thou visitest Him?"

NASA and the authorized mainstream media are comfortable with scrubbing certain events from our consciousness so that we conform to their will which is to glorify man and not his Creator; so should these instruments be scrubbed and we not be compelled to pay for this nonsense of going to the moon and now Mars as if to find life elsewhere. They will do anything to distract us from the reality that we live here alone in the vast universe with only the compulsion to recognize our corrupt nature and to glorify our Maker, Jesus, the Christ of God. Good for Buzz Aldrin!

Doesn't surprise me in the least that the MSM has left out any religious reference to the moon landing. The MSM and the political left won't rest until we are an atheist country.

It comes as no surprise to me that the mainstream media would delete any reference to the Bible or the Christian faith from any article or story they can get by with doing that to. The last thing they want is to make the public aware of anything even remotely Christian. Since most in the establishment media are religious humanists they view Christianity as an opposing religious faith and they seek to negate its influence wherever they can.

For many, the story we are interested in is the mission. Cool that Buzz was a Christian but it doesn't really change anything for those that don't ascribe to the same belief system. There are millions of people on this planet and not all of them believe in the same god or religion. If it is important to you then you should revel in it but not revile those that are not interested in the same thing. There are just so many people with different ways of expressing spirituality in this world. You do you and I will do me. We can peacefully coexist without stepping on anyone's toes.
