URI SNAP Outreach Clinic

St. Patrick’s Day celebration

We are all Irish on this day. Entertainment will be provided by Mike DeNardo, and the event’s meal will feature the best corned beef and cabbage in town. For reservations, call 780-6134. St. Joseph’s Day celebration

Chronic Disease Self-Management Program: Living Well Rhode Island

Many people suffer from some form of a chronic condition, such as arthritis, diabetes, pain, asthma, COPD or hypertension. What can we do to help manage these chronic conditions that we face almost every day? Topics to be covered will include dealing with frustration, pain and fatigue; exercise; medications; nutrition; evaluating new treatments; and how best to communicate with health professionals. Upon successfully completing the class, participants will receive a workbook, a relaxation CD and a gift certificate. Space is limited. To reserve a spot, call 780-6000.
