Bee & Honey: Something to Buzz About
Wednesday, Nov. 20 at 10 a.m.
Guest Speaker: Doreen Montaquila, beekeeper
Since ancient time honey has been used as both food and medicine. There are between 140,000 and 200,000 bee keepers just in the U.S.A. One of these beekeepers is our very own, Doreen, Case Manager in our Adult Day Services Division. At this presentation we will learn about the production of honey as well as some of the uses and benefits of this age old substance.
