Liz Boucher of Cranston has been named chief of organizational performance for the PACE organization of Rhode Island (PACE-RI). In this newly created position, Boucher will be overseeing human resources, professional development and compliance. She reports directly to CEO Joan Kwiatkowski.
Boucher joins PACE-RI from CareLink, where she served as chief operating officer for the past six years, overseeing six departments and 150 employees for the $8 million health care organization. She also served in clinical and project management positions during her 10-year tenure with CareLink.
Her education began with a B.A. in political science from Rutgers University. After several years in the workforce, she returned to school to obtain her M.S.W. at Boston College’s Graduate School of Social Work. Most recently, she received a certificate in project management from Bryant University’s Executive Development Center. Boucher is also a licensed, certified social worker and a member of the Society for Human Resources Management.
PACE-RI is a health plan for adults 55 and older who have chronic health needs and want to live at home. PACE provides health care, insurance, and support services including primary care, access to specialists, prescription drugs, durable medical equipment, dental care, 24-hour emergency services, home care, transportation to all medical appointments, meals, and physical, speech, occupational and respiratory therapies. PACE-RI serves the entire state, except Block Island and Prudence Island.
