Members of the Brookdale Pocasset Bay community recently had the winning numbers as the gathered for BINGO while benefitting a worthy cause. Last Wednesday, 92 participants gathered in Pocasset Bay’s spacious entrance hall armed with special cards and ready to win as they raised funds for the Wounded Warrior project - a non-profit and veterans’ organization that offers programs, services and events for wounded veterans of the military. Residents baked for the bake sale that accompanied the event, and were hands on in passing out materials needed for the night. Through their fun filled efforts, the participants raised a whopping $2,266 to help support Wounded Warrior’s mission.
