ASSAULT

On Feb. 26 at 5:01 p.m., Officer Leonard arrested James Smith, 36, of 126 Garden St., Apt. 2 in Cranston, for domestic simple assault, domestic disorderly conduct, obstructing an officer in the execution of duty and resisting legal or illegal arrest as a result of an attempt pickup at the aforementioned location.

At 9:04 p.m. on Feb. 26, Officer Travers arrested Rebecca Badway, 42, of 121 Rangeley Road in Cranston, for domestic simple assault, domestic disorderly conduct, disorderly conduct and an affidavit warrant from North Kingstown Police as a result of a disturbance investigation at Revolution at 2190 Broad St.

BREAKING AND ENTERING

A disturbance/stabbing at 575 Dyer Ave., Apt. C-36 on Feb. 24 at 1:44 a.m. led to the arrest of Austin Yeatman, 19, of 575 Dyer Ave., Apt. C-36 by Officers O’Malley and Smith. He was charged with attempted breaking and entering, conspiracy, ADW, resisting legal or illegal arrest and vandalism/malicious injury to property. He was held for arraignment at the Third District Court.

Officers O’Malley and Smith also arrested Stephanie Depina, 32, of 575 Dyer Ave. C-36, for attempted breaking and entering, conspiracy, disorderly conduct, resisting legal or illegal arrest and simple assault/battery on Feb. 24 at 1:44 a.m.

DISORDERLY

As a result of a disturbance at the 125 Westwood Ave. in Cranston, Officer Travers arrested Traizon Valley, 21, of the same address, for domestic disorderly conduct on Feb. 26 at 5:25 p.m. He was held overnight as a probation violator.

Officer Travers also arrested Talia DaRosa, 20, of 125 Westwood Ave., Cranston, for domestic disorderly conduct as a result of the disturbance. Following a disturbance at 501 Reservoir Ave., No. 12, in Cranston on Feb. 23 around midnight, Officers Leclair and Casaceli arrested Donald Yglesias, 60, of the above address, for domestic disorderly conduct, resisting legal or illegal arrest and simple assault/battery. He was held overnight to await arraignment at Third District Court.

After a motor vehicle stop in the area of 1478 Park Avenue on Feb. 21 at 11:05 p.m., Officer Scotti arrested Steven M. Rogers Jr., 20, of 10 Carrie Ann Drive, on a Cranston Police arrest warrant for disorderly conduct. He was held for arraignment. DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

Officer LeClair arrested Neil Gomes, 46, of 405 Maxfield Road in New Bedford, Massachusetts, for driving under the influence, first offense, after a motor vehicle stop in the area of Route 95 South at Laurens Street. He was held for arraignment.

On Feb. 25 at 2:25 a.m., Officer Murray arrested David Souza, 27, of 21 Ellen Lane in Cranston, for driving under the influence, first offense, duty to stop for an accident and refusal to submit to a chemical breathalyzer test. Souza’s arrest is the result of a hit and run motor vehicle accident investigation on Reservoir Avenue.

NO CONTACT

Officer Mcintyre arrested Christopher Castro, 35, of 226 Union Ave., Apt. No. 74, in Providence, on Feb. 23 around 1 a.m. for a violation of a no-contact order, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Castro’s arrest is the result of a pick-up on a 24-hour domestic no-contact order violation at 200 Union Ave. He was then held for arraignment. OBSTRUCTION

Officer Leonard arrested Melvin Altan, 29, of 126 Garden St., Apt. 2, in Cranston, for obstructing an officer in the execution of duty as a result of an attempt pick-up at the residence.

After turning himself in on a Cranston Police Department arrest warrant on Feb. 22 at 8:28 a.m., Officer McCoy arrested Isaac Abdul-Karim, 20, of 206 Pettis Drive in Warwick, for obstruction. He was then transported to the Third District Court.

POSSESSION

Ryan Corey Hood, 26, of 71 Waldron Ave. in Cranston, was arrested on Feb. 27 at 5:48 a.m. Officer LeClair for possession of a Schedule I drug (heroin) second offence, obstructing an officer in execution of duty, and simple assault. Hoods arrest was the result of a call for service at 681 Reservoir Avenue. He was held for arraignment.

PROSTITUTION

Shuqun Ren, 34, of 660 59th St. in Brooklyn, New York, was arrested for prostitution on Feb. 24 around 1 p.m. by Detectives Iacone and Lee. The arrest is the result of an ongoing investigation at Econo Lodge at 101 New London Ave. Ren was then held for arraignment. PROTECTIVE ORDER

Ronald Cicillini, 26, of 170 East Hill Drive in Cranston, was arrested on Feb. 22 at 11:27 a.m. by Officer McCoy for violation of a protective order as a result of a traffic stop on Dyer Avenue. He was held for arraignment pending arrival of a justice of the peace.

SHOPLIFTING

Ambar Sanchez, 30, of 25 Salmon St., No. 101, in Providence, was arrested on Feb. 26 at 12:50 p.m. by Officers Lavey and Skodras for shoplifting as a result of a call at 1441 Elmwood Avenue.

SUSPENDED LICENSE

On Feb. 26 at 8:43 a.m., Officers Lavey and Skodras arrested Richardson Baptiste, 27, of 38 Sabra St. in Cranston, for driving with a suspended license, third offense and a Sixth District Court bench warrant as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Union Avenue. He was then arraigned and transported to the ACI.

After initiating a traffic stop on Garfield Avenue on Feb. 22 at 11:50 a.m., Insp. Salvatore arrested Jennifer Bailey, 34, of 11 Browne St. in Cranston, for driving with a suspended license, third offense. She was issued a Third District Court summons to appear.

TRESSPASSING

On Feb. 23 at noon, Officer Clifford arrested Terrell Colbert, 41, of 28 Harris Ave., Apt. No. 201 in Cranston, for disorderly conduct, willful trespassing and shoplifting as a result of a call for service at 964 Cranston St. He was held as a probation violator.

VANDALISM

Officer Casaceli arrested Edwin Gonzalez, 21, of 18 Pengrove Ave. in Cranston, for domestic vandalism/malicious injury to property and domestic disorderly conduct after a disturbance at the residence. Gonzalez was held overnight to await arraignment at Third District Court.

WARRANT

Following a motor vehicle stop on Park Avenue on Feb. 26 at 11:58 a.m., Officers Merry and Detroia arrested James Costa, 35, of 19 Catherine St. in Bristol for an arrest warrant out of Pawtucket. He was processed and turned over to Pawtucket Police Department.
