ASSAULT On March 12 at 2:22 a.m., Officer McIntyre arrested Jason Crum, 39, of 18 Knight St. for domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct. The arrest was the result of a disturbance call at 18 Knight St. He was then held for arraignment.

ASSAULT

On March 12 at 2:22 a.m., Officer McIntyre arrested Jason Crum, 39, of 18 Knight St. for domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct. The arrest was the result of a disturbance call at 18 Knight St. He was then held for arraignment.

Officer Burns and Officer Paccasassi arrested Nicholas Maguire, 30, of 20 Camelia Dr. in Cranston for domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct. The arrest was the result of a disturbance at the aforementioned address. She was held awaiting arraignment as a probation violator. 

David Florio, 38, of 43 Irma Ave. in Warwick was arrested for manufacturing/possession/delivery of a schedule I/II drug (cocaine) and reckless driving/eluding police-third Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop to the rear of 400 Meshanticut Valley Pkwy. He was held awaiting arraignment as a probation violator. 

As a result of a call for service at 100 Speck Ave on March 6 at 11:44 p.m., Officers Smith and Lavey arrested Thomas Dube, 31, of 980 Main Ave in Warwick for domestic simple assault, disorderly conduct, simple assault, resisting arrest and two District Court warrants. He was then held awaiting arraignment.

POSSESSION

Sergeant Jubinville and Officer Lavey arrested Joshua Gelberger, 22, of 248 Harvard Rd. in Stow, MA for possession of a schedule I-V drug, (cocaine) and possession of false identification. His arrest was the result of a call for suspicious activity while on a detail at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet at 60 Rhodes Place. He was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.

On March 10 at approximately 9:54 p.m. Officer Henry arrested Laura Baumgardner, 28, of 27 Pleasant St. in Warwick for possession of a schedule II drug (cocaine) and possession of a schedule II drug (Dextro-Amphetamine). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop to the rear of 400 Meshanticut Valley Pkwy. She was held awaiting arraignment as a probation violator. 

As a result of a traffic stop on Park Ave. on March 6 at 4:03 p.m., Officer Corvese arrested Dana Leyland, 34, of 5 Dix Ave. Apt. 3 in Pawtucket for possession of a schedule I-V narcotic, obstructing an officer in the execution of duty, and a superior court bench warrant. Leyland was then held for morning arraignment.

PROTECTION ORDER VIOLATION

Nicholas McLaughlin, 31, of 127 Louisiana St. in Warwick was arrested on March 7 at 7:15 p.m. for violation of a Family Court protection order as a result of a keep the peace detail at 53 Oakland Ave. Apt. 2. He was arraigned and released by a Justice of the Peace.

On March 6 at 3:26 a.m., Officer Lavey arrested Gilbert Pacheco Jr. 39, of 239 Smith St. in Cranston for violation of a no contact order as the result of a call for service at that address. He was held awaiting arraignment.

SEX OFFENDER ADDRESS

Officer Leonard responded to Johnston Police Department and arrested Shon Phillips, 40, of 30 Howard Ave in Cranston on March 9 at 2:51 p.m. for Sex Offender - Failure to Change Address. He was held for arraignment.

SHOPLIFTING

On March 10 at approximately 4:55 p.m. Officer Leonard arrested Jocelyn Gamel, 22, of 725 Branch Ave. in Providence for shoplifting. The arrest was the result of a call for service at the Stop and Shop located at 204 Garfield Ave. She was arraigned by a justice of the peace.

STOLEN GOODS

Officer Neri arrested Noel Brown, 23, of 108 Comstock Ave. in Providence on March 10 at 12:15 p.m. for receiving stolen goods. The arrest was a result of a traffic stop on Reservoir Ave. He was held for arraignment pending arrival of a justice of the peace.

WARRANTS

As a result of a call for a disturbance at the Lowes at 247 Garfield Ave. on March 10 at approximately 6:50 p.m. Officer Leonard arrested Yolanda Harris, 41, of 90 Potters Ave. in Providence, RI, for an outstanding Sixth District Court bench warrant. Harris was later transported to Women’s Intake. On March 10 at 2:00 p.m. Officers Babcock, Afonso and Jaworski arrested Miguelyny Pujols, 25, of 28 Radcliffe Ave in Providence for a Superior Court Bench Warrant. The arrest was a result of a traffic stop on Reservoir Ave. Pujols was held for arraignment pending the arrival of a Justice of the Peace.
