ASSAULT

On May 3 at 3:19 Inspector Pariseault arrested Edward J. Stenovitch, 50 of 21 Fales Street, Cranston for felony assault on a person over 60, vandalism and disorderly conduct as a result of the suspect turning himself in at District Court. He was later arraigned at District Court.

DISORDERLY

As a result of a call for service on May 6 at 1:43 p.m., Officer Aldrich arrested Robert Rowan, 38, of 18 New Hampshire St. in Cranston for disorderly conduct. He was held awaiting arraignment by a Justice of the Peace.

On May 3 at approximately 5:30 p.m. Officer Leonard arrested Jose Charriez, 38, of 13 Ridge St. in Cranston for disorderly conduct. The arrest was the result of the subject turning himself in on an arrest and affidavit warrant issued by the Cranston Police Department. He was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace.

Officer Leclair responded to Providence Police Department on May 2 at 2:47 p.m.  and took custody of Keudy Salcedo-Rodriguez, 31, of 158 Terrace Ave #2 in Cranston on a Cranston arrest affidavit. Salcedo-Rodriguez was charged with domestic simple assault, domestic disorderly conduct, identity fraud, giving false documents to a government official and obstruction. He was held awaiting arraignment.

FORGERY

Officer Mastrati arrested Luis J. Aguasvivas, 24, of 146 Camden Avenue #2 in Providence on May 4 at 1:55 a.m. for forgery and counterfeiting of a registration plate, giving a false document to a public official, obstructing an officer and illegal evidence of financial security as a result of a traffic stop at 367 Laurel Hill Avenue. He was held for arraignment. OBSTRUCTION

As a result of a traffic stop at Montgomery Avenue on May 4 at 12:30 a.m. Officer Maione arrested Kevin Rosario, 23, of 11 Trask Street #1 in Providence for giving false documents to a public official and obstructing an officer. He was then held for arraignment. POSSESSION

On May 4 at 9:35 p.m. Officer Dagnese arrested Andy Melgar, 20, of 71 Dorchester Ave. in Providence for possession of a schedule II narcotic as a result of a traffic stop on Park Ave. He was held overnight for morning arraignment.

At approximately 7:09 p.m. on May 3, Officer Burns arrested Kazzim Yussuff, 36, of 11 Garfield Ave. in North Providence, for two counts of possession of a Schedule I-V drug (Cocaine, Codeine). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of 1606 Cranston St. He was held awaiting arraignment as a probation violator.

RESTRAINING ORDER

At 7:10 p.m. on May 5,  Officer Comella arrested Greg Ash, 43, of 35 Fuller St in Seekonk, MA for violation of a restraining order as a result of an affidavit warrant pick up at East Providence Police. He was arraigned and released by a Justice of the Peace.

SHOPLIFTING

Officer Carroll arrested Shanna Shodipe, 33, of 161 Laban St. Apt. 1 in Providence on May 5 at 6:39 p.m. for shoplifting as a result of a larceny complaint at Shaws at 8 Chapel View Blvd. She was arraigned and released by a Justice of the Peace.

STOLEN GOODS

On May 5 at 6:51 p.m. Officer Jaworski arrested Jenna Dimuccio, 29, of 23 Argyle St., Apt. 2 in Cranston for receiving stolen goods as a result of an affidavit warrant pick up at the Smithfield Police station. She was arraigned and released by a Justice of the Peace.

SUSPENDED LICENSE

On May 6 at 10:10 a.m. Officer Leclair arrested Salina McCagney, 36, of 69 Pearl Ave. in East Providence for driving after denial, suspension/revocation of license for certain violations. Her arrest is the result of a motor vehicle stop on Cranston St., and she was held for arraignment.

VANDALISM

Johnny Nuon, 30, of 90 Old Oak Ave. Cranston, was arrested on May 5 at 12:17 p.m. by Officer Lang for domestic vandalism, domestic disorderly conduct, disorderly conduct, resisting legal or illegal arrest, and three counts of simple assault. His arrest was the result of a call for service at the aforementioned address. He was held awaiting arraignment by a Justice of the Peace.
