ASSAULT

On July 29 at 11:04 p.m., Officers Lynch and Robbins arrested Sarae Cruz, 37, of 80 Fairweather Avenue in Cranston, for domestic simple assault/battery and domestic disorderly conduct. The arrest was the result of a disturbance at the above location. Cruz was held overnight awaiting arraignment at Third District Court.

At 11:01 a.m. on July 29, Officer Burns arrested Clyde Morgan, 22, of 44 Mawney Street #2 in Providence for domestic simple assault, domestic disorderly conduct and simple assault. The arrest was a result of a traffic stop on Park Avenue and subsequent Cranston Police Warrant for the subject. Morgan was held for arraignment pending arrival of a Justice of the Peace.

Renee Sparfven, 35, of 96 Congress Avenue Apt. 3 in Providence was arrested on July 27 at approximately 4:58 p.m. by Officer Viens for simple assault. The arrest was the result of a disturbance at the Walmart at 1776 Plainfield Pike. She was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace.

CHILD NEGLECT

On July 30 at 8:12 a.m., Officer Bolduc arrested Miguel Angel Rodriguez, 43, of 604 Laurel Hill Ave # 2 Cranston, for cruelty or neglect of a child and driving while under the influence, first offense. His arrest was the result of a call for service at 223 Scituate Avenue. He was held for arraignment pending the arrival of a Justice of the Peace.

DISORDERLY

Officer Corvese arrested Traizon Valley, 22, of 125 Westwood Avenue in Cranston on July 28 at approximately 4:57 p.m., for disorderly conduct. The arrest was the result of a disturbance in the area of 167 Narragansett Street. He was held awaiting arraignment as a probation violator.

On July 25 at approximately 5:15 p.m., Officer Laplume arrested Kurt Ficocelli, 31, of 34 N. Vale Avenue Apt. 2 in Cranston for domestic disorderly conduct. The arrest was the result of an attempted pickup on a warrant at 1000 Pontiac Ave. He was held awaiting arraignment as a violator.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

Linda Derobbio, 61, of 14 Pavilion Avenue in Cranston was arrested on July 30 at 12:00 p.m. by Sgt. D’Amico and Officer Escobar arrested for driving under the influence, first offense. Her arrest was the result of a call for service at 225 New London Avenue. She was held for arraignment pending arrival of a Justice of the Peace.

As a the result of a motor vehicle accident in the area of Burlingame Road near Cranston Country Club on July 25 at approximately 6:16 p.m., Officers Jaworski and Langlais arrested Keith Kureck, 46, of 171 Second Street in East Providence for driving under the influence. He was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace.

FORGERY

On July 27 at approximately 3:35 p.m. Officer Travers arrested Jose Nunez, 29, of 78 Whitmarsh Street in Providence for forgery and counterfeiting of registration plates. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Reservoir Ave. He was arraigned by the Justice of Peace and transported to ACI Intake as a probation violator.

LARCENY

Officer Murray arrested Eugene Robinson, 59, of 656 Elmwood Ave. Apt # 2 in Providence on July 30 at 10:04 a.m. for larceny under $1,500. His arrest is the result of a pickup from East Providence Police Department. He was transported to Third District Court.

On July 28 at approximately 5:06 p.m.., Officer Jaworski arrested David Lefebvre, 64, of 175 Holland Street in Cranston for larceny over $1,500. The arrest was the result of pickup at the RI Airport Police Department. He was held awaiting arraignment.

NO CONTACT

Luis Rivera, 28, of 121 Whittier Street in Providence was arrested on July 26 at 6:55 a.m. by Officer Mastrati for violation of a no contact order and a Superior Court bench warrant. The arrest was a result of subject being turned into Cranston Police Department. He was transported to the Third District Court. POSSSESSION

Officer Mastrati arrested Arianna Alcantara Cepeda, 18, of 139 Woodward Road in Providence on July 26 at 1:25 a.m. for two counts of possession of a Schedule II drug as a result of a traffic stop at 828 Cranston Street. She was held for Arraignment.

As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of 1090 Cranston Street on July 25 at approximately 3:45 p.m., Officers Burke and Comella arrested Iliana Gomez, 29, of 125 Knight Street Apt. 1 in Providence for possession of a schedule I/II drug (Cocaine). She was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace.

RESISTING ARREST

On July 26 at 2:42 a.m. Officer Lavey arrested Lindsey Evans, 33 of 79 Douglas Avenue in Cranston for obstructing an officer in execution of duty and resisting legal or illegal arrest as a result of a disturbance call at 79 Douglas Avenue. She was then held for Arraignment.

SHOPLIFTING

At approximately 5:29 p.m. on July 27 Officer Jaworski arrested Krystal Cruz, 27, of 106 River Avenue in Providence for felony shoplifting. The arrest was the result of a call for service at the Stop and Shop located at 204 Garfield Avenue. He was held awaiting arraignment as a probation violator.

On July 26 at approximately 4:58 p.m., Officer Langlais arrested Amanda Houle, 19, of 75 Pocasset Street in Johnston for two counts of misdemeanor shoplifting and two counts of conspiracy. The arrest was the result of an investigation at the Walmart located at 1776 Plainfield Pike. She was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace. Also arrested was Erik Cairo, 28, of 23 Princeton Avenue in Warwick two counts of felony shoplifting and two counts of conspiracy. He was held awaiting arraignment as a probation violator.

STOLEN GOODS

On July 24 at 8:55 a.m. Officer Travers arrested Ada L. Rosado, 33 of 31 Gallatin Street in Providence for receiving stolen goods as a result of a suspicious activity check at the PriceRite at 1441 Elmwood Avenue. He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace.

WARRANT

As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of 1125 Cranston Street  on July 28 at approximately 4:22 p.m., Officer Viens arrested Alyssa Soares, 23, of 41 Wellington Street in East Providence for an outstanding arrest and affidavit warrant out of East Providence. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of 1125 Cranston Street. She was processed and transported to the East Providence Police.  *** On July 28 at 8:44 a.m. Detective Lee and Officer Clifford arrested Anthony Pesare, 26, of 7 Anstis Street in Cranston, for two Superior Court warrants for failure to appear for cost review on charges of possession of a schedule I-V drug. His arrest was the result of a follow up to a missing person investigation at 7 Anstis St. He was later transported to the ACI.

Officer Maione arrested Terrance Blockson, 56, of 47 Covell Street in Providence on July 27 at 11:48 p.m. for a Third District Court bench warrant as the result of a motor vehicle stop on Webster Avenue near June Avenue. He was transported to the ACI.

On July 27 at approximately 5:48 p.m., Officer Schaffran arrested Jose Alonzo, 27, of 158 Alverson Street in Providence for an outstanding Third District Court bench warrant. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of 86 Edgewood Avenue. He was transported to the ACI Intake.  ***

As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of 1450 Elmwood Avenue  on July 27 at approximately 8:57 p.m. Officer Corvese arrested Jarred Kaiser, 28, of 1441 Main Street in West Warwick for an outstanding Third District Court bench warrant. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of 1450 Elmwood Avenue. He was transported to the ACI Intake.  *** On July 26 at approximately 6:06 p.m., Officer. Burns arrested Antron Dublin, 37, of 71 Erastus Street Apt. 71 in Providence for an outstanding arrest and affidavit warrant from the Providence Police and a Superior Court bench warrant. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of 90 Pontiac Avenue. He was transported to the ACI Intake. 

*** At 1:25 a.m. on July 26, Officer Mastrati arrested Gustavo Mazuelos, 21, of 69 Hill Street in Providence for a Superior Court Bench Warrant as a result of a traffic stop at 828 Cranston Street. He was transferred to the ACI.
