ASSAULT
Officers arrested Antonio Brieva, 24, of 11 Natick Circle in Cranston for domestic simple assault. The arrest was a result of a call for service at the above address. He was held for arraignment pending arrival of Justice of Peace.

DISORDERLY
On December 25 at 10:17 a.m. an officer arrested Leonardo Ovalles, 19, of 1348 Plainfield Pike in Cranston for domestic disorderly and vandalism as a result of an incident that occurred earlier that morning on 38 Marlow Street in Cranston. He was then held for arraignment.

Briana Swinson, 25, of 63 Scenic Drive in Cranston was arrested on December 23 at 11:18 a.m. for domestic assault and domestic disorderly conduct. The arrest was a result of call for service at the above address. She was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace.

At 11:01 p.m. on December 22 officers arrested Roy Moukhaiber, 29, of 100 Elena St. #106 for domestic disorderly conduct. Also arrested was Natalia Langella of 100 Elena St #106. The arrests were a result of call for service at the above address. They were then held for arraignment.

On December 21 at 1:35 a.m. officers arrested Robert McNab, 43, of 85 Briggs St. #203 in Cranston for disorderly conduct as the result of a motor vehicle stop on Legion Way near Reservoir Avenue. He was held awaiting arraignment.

POSSESSION
On December 22 at 11:30 a.m. officers arrested Tyler Kenneth, 30, of 21 Leah Street #2 in Providence for a violation of a no contact order and possession of a schedule I-V drug. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of 151 Farmington Ave. He was then held for arraignment.

Officers arrested Michael Anderson, 31, of 15 Tall Oaks Court of Johnston on December 19 at 12:22 p.m. for possession of a schedule I-V drug and possession of marijuana as the result of a vehicle stop on Webster Avenue near Franklin Avenue. He was held awaiting arraignment.

ROBBERY
On December 18 at approximately 7:48 p.m. Cranston Police were dispatched to the Sunoco Gas Station located at 905 Cranston Street for an armed robbery with a knife. Two suspects approached the full service gas attendant on foot armed with a knife who was outside at the time near the gas pumps.
The two suspects immediately without notice began attacking the gas attendant by physically assaulting him, knocking him to the ground punching and kicking him, then going through his pockets taking an undisclosed amount of money. The struggle continued and at one point the suspects stabbed at him with a knife causing a non-life threatening laceration before fleeing on foot.
Officers and detectives quickly saturated the area and based on the description, alert officers stopped a suspect vehicle being a gold 2003 Hyundai Tucson on Roland Avenue near Franklin Avenue trying to flee the area. Inside the vehicle were two male subjects Gary Ruspus and Samuel Medina matching the description provided by the victim. Both suspects were identified and apprehended.
Samuel Medina, 19, of 44 Ansel Avenue in Providence, was arrested for first degree robbery, assault with intent to commit a felony, weapons other than firearms prohibited, and conspiracy as a result of a robbery investigation at Sunoco, 905 Cranston St.
Also arrested was Gary Ruspus, 19, of 18 Blackstone Avenue for the above charges as well as an affidavit warrant from the Providence Police. Both were held for morning arraignment.

SEX OFFENDER ADDRESS
Mark Wilson, 49, of 30 Howard Avenue in Cranston was arrested on December 21 at 10:48 a.m. for a sex offender address change. The arrest was a result of subject turning himself in on a Cranston Police warrant.
He was held for arraignment pending arrival of the Justice of the Peace.

On December 20 at 1:10 p.m. detectives arrested Richard John Giles, 51, of 30 Howard Avenue in Cranston for a sex offender address change. His arrest was the result of turning himself into police headquarters. He was then held for arraignment.

SHOPLIFTING
Officer Corvese arrested Amy Clements, 35, of no particular address on December 24 at 5:55 p.m. for shoplifting, resisting arrest, and an outstanding Superior Court bench warrant. The arrest was the result of a call for service at the Garfield Avenue Stop and Shop. She was then held awaiting arraignment.

On December 24 at 11:50 a.m. an officer arrested Carlos Javier Rivera-Rodriguez, 42, for shoplifting as a result of a call for service at the Stop & Shop on Garfield Avenue. He was issued a summonsed to appear at the Third District Court.

SUSPENDED LICENSE
As a result of a traffic stop on Route on December 22 at 1:25 p.m. officers arrested Mark Williams, 30, of 1000 Willet Avenue #2 in Riverside for driving on a suspended license sixth offence. He was issued a summons to appear at the Third District Court.

Officers arrested Tirrell Walker, 40, of 5 Haven Avenue in Cranston on December 19 at 5:33 p.m. for driving without a license, third or subsequent offense as a result of a traffic stop on Webster Ave. Walker was summonsed and released on scene.

VANDALISM
On December 18 at 12:32 a.m., officers arrested Christopher Ferreiras, 32, of 529 Union Ave. in Providence for domestic vandalism, domestic disorderly conduct and possession of a schedule II drug (cocaine) as the result of a Cranston Police arrest affidavit.

WARRANTS
Officers arrested Steven Odell, 25, of 24 Chestnut Street in Westerly on December 23 at 6:45 p.m. for an arrest and affidavit warrant out of the Westerly Police Department. The arrest was the result of a suspicious activity call in the area of 100 Hillside Rd. He was later turned over to Westerly Police Department.

On December 22 at 9:32 a.m. officers arrested Michael Correia, 58, of 371 Rockland Road in North Scituate for a Third District Court bench warrant. The arrest was a result of a traffic stop on Reservoir Avenue. He was then transported to the ACI.

At 12:47 a.m. on December 22, officers arrested Jovone Dube, 26, of 19 Hopkins Street in Lincoln for two bench warrants. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Broad Street and Betsy Williams Drive. Dube was then transported to the ACI.
