Park View Middle School commemorated Arbor Day last Thursday with the planting of a tree donated by the Edgewood Garden Club. The tree was planted with 8th grade students from the Patriots team. The Edgewood Garden Club member on-site was Jenn Miller Heaton. Along with Jenn (kneeling by the tree) is Mr. Crudale. The flowering tree was planted in honor of a former teacher at Park View Middle School, Wanda DeRouin, who loved gardening and was an esteemed and beloved member of the Park View community.
