The Retired Rhode Island Musician Educators will be presenting their 9th annual Spring Concert in an afternoon of music on Sunday, April 23 at 3 p.m. at the Moses Brown School, Ross House on 250 Lloyd Avenue in Providence. The event features this year’s scholarship winners. Past concerts have included a diverse mixture of music from Classical to Pop, Show Tunes to Jazz. A basket placed by the door will be available for donations to the Ed Drew Memorial Scholarship for Student Teachers.
This is a free event, and all money raised through donations will go directly to the scholarship fund. There will be a mix of music educators, students and professionals performing. There will also be a dance group presenting a tango to the audience. For additional information please contact Michael Carbone at carbonemm@gmail.com or at 822-0871.
