Now open is Cayla, a new Guatemalan bakery located at 100 Dyer Ave. in Cranston. Mayor Allan Fung officially welcomed the new business and owner Marvin Lopez to the Cranston community. The bakery specializes in Guatemalan treats and sweets, which are mixed with American flair. The ribbon cutting took place on May 10, which was also Mother’s Day in Guatemala.
