On Thursday, the Cranston East JROTC program held their annual changing of the guard ceremony, in which the juniors take over for the seniors in the battalion guard. The outgoing commander for the senior class, which has 28 graduating JROTC members, is Zackary Spark, while junior Eric Testa is now the battalion commander for the group. The two took time for a photo after the ceremony alongside Colonel John Murray and retired Sgt. Mjr. Gerald Thifault. (Herald photo)
