Vets 7th grader Evan Jollie, who was the winner in the school’s Geography Bee last month, will compete in the state National Geographic Geography Bee this Friday at the Masonic Temple in Pawtuxet. The National Geographic Society provides all-expense paid trips to Washington, D.C. for state winners to compete in the national competition where the champion will receive a $50,000 college scholarship in addition to other prizes.
