Ireland’s “32” Society celebrated their 50th anniversary Sunday at the RI Shrinerrs Imperial Room in Pawtuxet with 146 in attendance. The club that meets monthly from September to June at Patrick’s Pub in Providence hosts annual St. Patrick’s and Christmas dinner dances as well as a memorial mass for deceased members. The club hosts a golf tournament in September that helps raise funds for four scholarships. Irish entertainment is on the top of club pastimes, which is enjoyed at Patrick’s Pub and the Irish Ceilidhe Club of RI, among other venues.
