Defenders of Animals Inc. held its annual Pasta Fest event at the Edgewood Congregational Church in Cranston last Friday. The event raised $788 that will be used for emergency medical care and spaying/neutering for dogs and cats. More than 50 individuals participated in the event.
Defenders of Animals will be holding its Bowling for Animals event on Sunday, Nov. 17, from 2 to 4 p.m. The event will include two hours of bowling, a pizza and a pitcher of soda for each lane for $20 per person. It will be held at Town Hall Lanes, located at 1463 Atwood Ave. in Johnston. For reservations, call 461-1922.
Defenders of Animals will also be one of the participants at the Old-Fashioned Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Dec. 7, at Edgewood Congregational Church.
