Alex Castosa of Cranston’s Highway Division took a break from clearing slush from storm drains Sunday morning for a coffee at Little Falls Café in Pawtuxet. The weekend storm brought snow, rain, ice and high winds, but fortunately didn’t deliver the punch forecasters predicted. The ice left in its wake, however, was treacherous. (Herald photo)
