During the Pawtuxet Village Farmers Market at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet on Saturday morning, children from Little Learners Playgroup enjoyed a tea party hosted by Sanctuary Herbs of Providence. The youngsters – many dressed in tea party attire – enjoyed sweets and servings of “Garden of Eve” herbal tea, which is a mixture of lemon verbena, apple and cinnamon. Theresa McFarlane of Little Learners Playground – which is based in Cranston and provides educational experiences for children up to age 5 – said the idea for the tea party was developed during a visit to the weekly market.
